- 1 ¼ cup brown sugar* tightly packed (250g)
- 1/2 cup sugar (100g)
- 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk room temperature preferred*
- 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour (350g)
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips (70g) plus additional for topping, optional
- ⅓ cup white chocolate chips (70g) plus additional for topping, optional
- 3-4 Tablespoons red white and blue sprinkles
